Day -3: Ranthambore to Bundi - [150km]

Early morning, enjoy jungle safari in the park. Our safari giving us the opportunity to see one of the majestic Tigers that roam the hills and jungle.

Drive through small villages and beautiful countryside. The landscape is rustic, and you will see men wearing colourful turbans every few kilometres. Bundi is a town with architectural wonders, in particular its magnificent stepwells. An ancient architectural marvel.

With so many temples, Bundi is also known as Chhoti Kashi (Little Varanasi.) Overnight in Bundi.

Day -4: Bundi to Udaipur - [264km]

After breakfast we saddle up and head to the city of Lakes.

Good Vibrations’ home city. Voted one of the top 10 most beautiful cities. Udaipur has a magic and light to it that help you understand why we call it home.

The last of the 4 capitals of the great state of Mewar. Surrounded by the Ancient Aravalli’s, and never conquered. Udaipur is a princely city with one of the largest lived in palaces in the world. Udaipur has a gentle feel to and is easy to navigate on your bike, by tuktuk or with your own two feet. One of our joys is to ride the city and its limits in the cool evening and soak up the bustling atmosphere.

There are so many places to eat, shop or just wander and people watch. In the centre of the old town is a very scared Jagdish Hindu Temple dating from the 1600s and is most worthy of a climb of the steps to the temple entrance.

Day -5: Udaipur Rest Day

After a leisurely breakfast we will have time to explore the alleyways and lanes of the old city and lake side cafes. With some special activities planned to make your time in Udaipur magical

Day -6: Udaipur to Jojawar - [140km]

Departing the beauty of Udaipur, chasing bends around the Aravalli hills, we head off for a leisurely ride to Jojawar. Visiting the royal temple of Nagda and then stopping at the Kumbalgarh fort along the way to be mesmerized by the size of the area and the vast walls of the fort which did their best to keep many invaders away. Certainly, a great spot for photographs that capture this historic place.

Arriving at the small town of Jojawar we are in for an absolute treat with our accommodation. A right royal treat.

Day -7: Jojawar to Jawai - [100km]

For a short while, we will leave our two wheeled companions parked up to rest and drive a few kilometres on four wheels to Kamlighat railway station. We will board an old British narrow-gauge train and embark on a short journey to Phulad, some 1hour-15 minutes afar. A wonderful opportunity to enjoy this preserved piece of history listening to the rumble of the wheels on the track, the gravel thirsty tones of the engine and the cool breeze winding its way through the carriages.

Like so many before, you will be chugging along, 19th century style, through the stunning Rajasthan untouched countryside and no doubt you will spot Langur monkeys that sit, swing, and wait in hope for snippets of food from generous passengers! From Phulad station, a short car journey back to the hotel will reunite you with your bike. Our destination is Jawai. This area is part of the tribal belt with the handsome turban wearing shepherds. We are in leopard country, and we may have the unique opportunity to encounter Leopards in their natural habitat. The shepherds and leopards live in an extraordinary harmony. Our camp for the night is the hospitable Godwad Safari Camp where you can look forward to resting in the sounds of nature.

Day -8: Jawai to Jodhpur - [150km]

We begin with an early morning jeep safari experience in this wonderous landscape of rolling rock hills, seeking out the leopards rising from their dens. Returning to the camp for breakfast. We then mount our bikes and ride to Jodhpur.

On the way you will get to experience the unique and somewhat mystical Om Banna Dam - Bullet Baba Temple. A shrine that pays homage to a local young man and his magical motorcycle. Even the greatest of cynics will be moved by the care, devotion and love bestowed upon the spirit of this motorcycle and its rider. He is said to this day care for distressed drives and riders as they pass through his village.

Continue onward to the blue city with its imposing fortress. There will be free time, to relax or take a tour of the mad and wonderful clock tower market.

After a lunch in the city, we head into the vast timeless space of the Thar desert. Riding back roads of shifting sands. After few hours ride on this day, we will reach a camp site. Enjoy camel ride at sunset and dinner. Then sleep under the stars or the camp. We can give this option to people who want to sleep in the comfort of tent than in open under the stars.
